Everything here is about NovaPod itself: what it is, who it's for and how to say it. Read twice, then just talk.
Say it out loud
01 · Use when: they glance at your phone, or you've got one shot
"Most apps show you the finished thing.
NovaPod shows you the making of it."
02 · Use when: they lean in and ask "okay, what is it though?"
"It's where you post the Journey, not just the result.
Working on something? Start a Journey for it. Every update — a rough sketch, a bad first take, the breakthrough — is a Chapter. People follow along and watch it actually happen.
And if you need a skill you don't have, there's a whole side of the app for finding people to make things with.
Oh — and your profile gets its own visual theme, so it actually looks like you."
03 · Depending who's asking
To a creative friend"It's a home for your process — the sketches, the drafts, the take you almost deleted — not only the polished result."
To a musician"Post the rough demo, the bad take, the version you almost trashed — then the finished track. People hear it come together."
To a builder / dev friend"Build in public, but in an app made for it — every update is a Chapter in one Journey, so people can follow the whole build."
To someone who barely uses social apps"It's a public diary of something you're making, and the people who care show up for it."
To a parent / older relative"It's like a scrapbook everyone can watch you fill in, instead of just seeing the finished photo."
04 · Questions people ask
Do I need to be good at something?
"No — you just need to be working on something. Rough is the point. 'Not happy with the balance yet, but the shape is there' is a great post."
Who is it for?
"Anyone making anything — music, writing, art, code, DIY, cooking, training. If it has a 'before' and an 'after', it belongs here."
Is it free?
"Yes. It's free while we're in early access, and people who join early keep Pro."
What if I'm stuck and need help?
"Open Explore, filter by category, and find a project that needs exactly what you've got — or show what you're missing and let people find you."
Is it safe?
"You can report anything and block anyone, and we review reports within 24 hours. Someone you block can't find your profile."
05 · Use when: "why would I post the messy, unfinished stuff?"
"Because the messy stuff is the part people actually root for.
Nobody gets invested in a photo that just appears finished — they get invested in watching someone almost give up, and then not.
That's the whole app."
06 · Text a friend right now
"hey, downloading this app called NovaPod — it's for posting stuff you're working on as you go, not just the finished thing. thought of you 👀 app.novapod.app"
07 · Invite a maker you know
"hey — you're always working on something. I've been posting the process on NovaPod instead of just the finished thing. want to start a Journey for yours? app.novapod.app"

Nobody gets invested in a finished photo. They get invested in watching someone almost give up, then not. That's NovaPod.
Post step one. You don't need the finished thing to start a Journey on NovaPod.
"Not happy with the balance yet, but the shape is there." On NovaPod, that's a great Chapter.
A songwriter with no producer. A writer who needs an illustrator. A dev with an idea and no designer. NovaPod's Explore is for finding each other.
Your profile shouldn't look like everyone else's. NovaPod lets you pick a whole visual world for yours — and preview it on your real posts first.

NovaPod on its own terms: what we do, who it's for, how people move through it, and where we still have work to do. The honest gaps stay in — they're ours to fix.
What we do
Journeys
The core
A Journey is a project told in Chapters, each with as many images as you need.
Why people care
Progress is more interesting than polish. People follow a Journey because they watched it happen, and by the time it's done, they're invested.
Say it like
"Post the making, not just the made."
A feed of your people
Follow-based
Your feed is Journeys from the people you follow, updated as they work.
Why people care
You're not scrolling finished results — you're watching things come together, and you can comment on the process.
Say it like
"It feels like being in the room."
Find people to make things with
Collab
Explore lets you filter by category and find projects that need what you've got.
Why people care
A songwriter with no instrumentalist. A writer who needs an illustrator. A dev with an idea and no designer.
Say it like
"You sing. They play. Go find each other."
A profile that's really you
Themes
A growing set of visual worlds for your profile, previewed live on your real posts.
Why people care
Your identity isn't locked in. Re-skin your profile whenever the work — or the mood — changes, and pull sticker packs into posts, comments and chats.
Say it like
"Your profile should look like you."

Invites and collaboration requests

Honest gaps to close
Cold start
A feed of people you follow only works once there are people worth following. Fix: seed with real Journeys and invite makers in small groups.
Not on the App Store yet
The iOS build is in review. Until it's approved, people use the web app and TestFlight. Fix: the launch plan starts the day we're live.
We can't see drop-off
There's no usage measurement yet, so we can't see where people leave. Fix: anonymous, privacy-friendly analytics after approval, with the privacy label updated first.
No money story yet
Early access means free Pro for everyone. Eventually it needs its own answer. Fix: decide what early members keep, and say it clearly.
iPhone first
Android is in progress but not released, which leaves out part of the audience for now.
Next 90 days
01
Get approved and launch on the App Store.
02
Invite makers in small groups. The quality of the first Journeys matters more than the count.
03
Measure the funnel above with anonymous analytics, so we know where people stop.
04
Keep shipping things to talk about: new themes, sticker packs, small features.
05
Grow the collaboration side, so people find each other and not only follow.
